Roman Prokoph
Roman Prokoph (born 6 August 1985 in Berlin[1]) is a German footballer who plays for Austrian club Kapfenberger SV.[2][3]
Career
Prokoph began his career with SV Berlin-Chemie Adlershof and joined 1997 in the age of twelve to the youthteam of 1. FC Union Berlin.[4] After seven years was promoted to the first team of 1. FC Union Berlin who earned 46 matches and scored eleven goals. He left his team 1. FC Union Berlin then on 1 January 2006 and signed for Ludwigsfelder FC, here he earned only seven caps and scored three goals in six months. After this big second half for Ludwigsfelder FC in the second half of the 2005/2006 season signed in summer for FC St. Pauli.[5] He played ten games in the Regionalliga Nord for FC St. Pauli and was a keyplayer of the reserve.[6] In July 2008 signed for the reserve team of VfL Bochum and became the team captain in winter of the season 2008/2009. On 23 November 2009 earned his first Fußball-Bundesliga match against Hamburger SV[7] and signed his first professional contracht with the Ruhrpott club on 9 February 2010.[8]
